  • 2 cups of old fashioned oats
  • 2 cups of brown rice cereal of your choice
  • ½ cup of chopped dried tart cherries
  • ¼ cup of chopped candied ginger
  • ¼ cup of flaxseeds
  • ½ cup of Once Again Nut Butter Sunflower Seed Butter
  • ½ cup of Once Again Wildflower Honey

  1. In a very large bowl, mix all dry ingredients and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan combine honey and sunflower seed butter over low heat, while mixing constantly. When the mixture is thinner than when you started, about eight to 10 minutes into the process, quickly pour the liquid over the dry mixture.
  3. Using a large wooden spoon or spatula, mix all ingredients well and pour the combination onto a baking sheet. Place it in an oven pre-heated to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes, remembering to give the granola a good stir half way through. This will ensure even baking.
  4. Remove the sunflower-sweet creation from the oven; let it cool, and then break it into pieces. Store granola in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
