Chocolate Nut Rice Crispy Treats
Isn’t making rice crispy treats a right of passage? Do we even need a recipe? It is likely that you’ve made these before without having to look at the back of the marshmallow bag or the box of cereal for the recipe. However, we hope to pique your interest in this tiny addition to the traditional recipe with our gourmet Hazelnut Spread with Cocoa and Milk. This recipe will remind you of the original; however, the addition of one tablespoon of cacao powder enhances both color and flavor.
Nonetheless, you will be amazed by how chocolaty and delicious these treats turn out. The beloved texture of the rice crispy treat is the same while the deep flavors of hazelnut and chocolate are highlighted in each bite. It will be challenging to keep these overnight, but if you make a double batch and have leftovers, you can experiment with adding chopped hazelnuts, extra chocolate chips, or coconut flakes to top these off for a decadent upgrade.
Once Again Hazelnut Spread with Cocoa and Milk makes it incredibly simple to add gourmet flavor to any recipe. The texture is versatile in most recipes, and it can be easily added as an ingredient or used instead of other nut butters or liquid sweeteners such as maple syrup. Also, don’t forget about our white chocolate flavored Once Again Chocolate Nut Butter product line, which would work wonderfully in this recipe. Enjoy!
